so, how many of you would invest some money into buying some land in n fla be opened to placing some trailers and makeing into a blind nudiest community? gated of course. benifits would include a pool, club house, walking trail. all of course developed and worked by residents.florida has a good insurance. plenty of teaching medican colleges and lots of attrations. cost of living in north florida is cheaper than south florida. why not invest some money into buying your own place. make good tax free but involved folk out of you. chime in.
But can I just live there? Being nude 24-7 is pointless! I can't see the person and I wouldn't just walk around feeling on people unless, I'm dating a particular dude or something.
I saw trailer park and shuddered.
I know to prude and religious types the nudist part is their biggest abomination being the human body is flesh and terrible and all. But to my mind Odin will come and smite those who invented such horrors as trailer parks: White trash-infested jungles of misshapen steel where people buy their own place but can't sell it because only the stick-built homes on properly owned land reflect real estate values.
In part I jest of course, but I did know a partial nudist in Florida once, and asked him how he kept the bugs off. Well you need to take up cigar smoking if you're gonna be that down there, the bugs are attrocious and if you're bitten enough you get sick. I did anyway.
Other than that, you will be comfortable.
I can understand tropical and subtropical nudists. What I don't understand are the nudist downhill skiers up here. I mean, I'm all for birth control, but you shouldn't have to have it frostbitten all the way off. lol

Um... no thanks. I have no problem with the nudist part--to each his own. But the trailer park for the blind--no, and no. sorry. I dont' think it would boost my self esteam very much to be living in a community full of blind white trash. lol. sorry, harsh but true.
If someone is buying a home to boost their self esteem, they need to see my posts on home ownership first, get their hate on, burn me in effigy first, work it all off, then maybe settle down some and listen. Just sayin'.
I hadn't factored in self esteem, but I guess seeing as people I have known do the home ownership thing over the years for all the wrong reasons, I should have. Clumsy me.
Too much risk for hurricanes... even if it doesn't make landfall anywhere near the community, the feeder bands can pack high winds and lots and lots of rain.
Trust me on this one... I used to live on a small island in the Caribbean basin and have felt the full effect of hurricane force winds. It's not pleasant and it's not safe either.
When I was in college I had a group of all blind friends, and we'd hang out at my place or another couples place. There was no need to get redressed after you got undressed to enjoy sex with your partner. We didn't swap.
If you wanted to get up to go get a drink, or bathroom, or something there was no modesty issues, because we couldn't see each other anyway.
My point I guess is blind nudists have no point if as pointed out you're not touching them. As a blind person you can just join any nudists group already. Lol
Now investing? Sure, lets call it the church of blindness, and collect donations. Smile.
well, yes i see the point of not eing able to see the point. ok how about a community of small condos? or apartments? with a pool, gym and walking track? would you invest in such a place? mind you i am not talking about a goverment runned ghetto but a community paid for by our various sources of income? would you invest? what might be some drawbacks? ty for responding folks

But only if they are given a chance for rehabilitation and recovery and an opportunity of being reintroduced to society once completing the requirements and passing a test and signing legal forms declairing that they won’t be weird.
Wow I feel really mean now but its embarrassing to have to explain to people that not all blind people do those things.
Do you really think you can rehabilitate those rocking eye-poking apes? Might as well have them pull our plows and wagons, but don't let them touch us.
But leo, I wasn't talking about Self Esteem in terms of home ownership. I meant self esteem within a community. wat too much to get depressed about if you willingly subject yourself to a would-be segregated trailer park, only for people who are blind. lol. and by segregated I mean cut off from the rest of society, as in you'd only have blind, trailer trash neighbors. Nothing against the blind, but that's not my main characteristic. So if I were to identify myself with it so far as to go live among a bunch of other blind people and no others included, it would be a dark day indeed. lol.
Oh, but as I think of it, why imprison just the rockers and eye-pokers. How about just any blind person who dares slightly almost kind of annoy us in principle and would be to blame for a nick or a scratch on our fragile reputations. Remember, blind people, your one single-minded borg-like Dalek-like reason to exist at all is to prove to everyone else how superior you are, read that as, how much do you think, look and behave like sighted people, the lords and masters of this, their world. Oh, the banner day, the great celebration when all the winers, causers of drama, lazy, unemployed, unskilled, unwashed, undatable, unlovable, unlikable, unwanted, wretched worthless subhumans are tossed straight in the dungeons with the afore-mentioned rockers and eye-pokers? That'll leave perhaps just me and one woman, and we're probably not going to have a single thing in common or even like each other, so in she goes just because I'm all bad-ass like that. Then all the cool sighted kids who laughed at me before will truly and really see how civilized and how almost nearly normal I am and they'll let me hang out with them and go to their parties and all the hot chicks will give me rides in their red sports cars. Maybe one of them will like me enough to speak to me directly, while none of the other sighted people is looking.
Right. Looks like Niki and Imprecator were born at the wrong time. Would have served the world better as members of the Third Reich. Why imprison? Why not just finish things with a bit of cyanide gas or Zychlon B while you're at it?

I get your point Bernadetta. I am not too fond of the trailer trash idea either but again unlike some nazis on here I care nothing one way or the other be it blind, sighted, gay straight black white Jew or whatever.
Condos, hmm, those are really difficult to sell peacemeal. Once you develop and sell your batch of them, it's really hard to get others to buy in if an individual wants to sell.
I'm fine living in an apartment community, and I do recognize that in the Northeast and in Europe people purchase apartments, but in most of America if it isn't stick built on its own dirt it's really hard to resell it.
But back to the imprisoning thing: Since I'm tired of people from other countries thinking all Americans are weird, backward, racist, homophobic, disablist people then I will imprison the people who wanted to imprison eye rollers and rock pokers or whatever you want to make believe. Ah but that would make me as much the sheep shagging fool as them.
